For the sake of context, I'd like to state that 07/08 have been the best “Gig-Going” years of my life including shows like Prince, Elton John, Foo Fighters, John Mayer, Aerosmith, Linkin Park, Joe ####er, Paul Carrack, Rolling Stones and the like.
Who would have thought that sweet little Mrs Loud from Newcastle could take on the might of these musical giants to steal the GIG OF THE DECADE award? Sounds ridiculous in concept doesn’t it, but on Thu 27th Nov 08, Crosby &her elite team did just that! Anatomy Defying Vocals, Breathtaking Songwriting, Exquisite Musicianship, Rock, Roll, Sex Appeal, Excitement, Emotion, Tears, Laughter, Audience Participation… Need I go on? This slick production had it all! Oh did I forget that the legendary Bonnie Tyler also performed as well! Sorry, can’t coherently gather my usually organised thoughts, as am still reeling from the show!
